College is a great experience filled with classes, work, extracurricular activities, and a social life. It can get busy pretty fast so it's nice to know that there are people out there who take the time to reach out beyond campus and spread a little happy to the neighboring areas.

The Good Project # 2: Ohio Volunteers
Since I spent my last four years going to college in Ohio, I have a soft spot for anything related to the state. As part of my new "good project", I want to give kudos to students from Ohio universities who donated over 1 million hours of their time volunteering last year. Students from the University of Dayton, Miami University, Wright State University, and University of Cincinnati focused on key issues such as hunger, poverty, and illiteracy in an effort to make a difference in their communities.

Good stuff meg - this is what it's all about. We just got done pulling our numbers for just this past summer and our guys logged over 6000 hours of service (all voluntary). Love it when it carries forward to college.....and life.
