Chicago is my hometown, and it also happens to be one of my favorite cities. Downtown Chicago is full of life: a variety of people, bright lights, tall buildings, loud noises. I love it. But have you ever explored underground Chicago? It is just as cool.
The Chicago Pedway spans about 40 blocks underground, complete with shops, restaurants, and a place to hide from the Chicago winters. Last week I walked the pedway from Millenium Station to Macy's and passed Subway and L.A. Fitness, and walked under the Cultural Center. Someone had managed to tape purple hearts along the way too, definitely made me smile.
