Hi friends, happy 2012. Hope your Christmas and New Years were amazing! As always I was reading another fun article, this one about resolutions and it got me thinking. How many of you start the year with resolutions in mind? How many of you keep that resolution for the whole year? I'm usually good until about March and then all my resolutions go out the window.
In my opinion, resolutions are a great way to challenge yourself. Some are unrealistic, and many people fail to comply to their resolutions after the first week of the new year. It's been my experience that many people try to "give up" or "lose" something like weight, smoking, drinking... which are all fine, but I think resolutions, like any ideal goal, need to include an effective strategy and call to action (pardon the public relations in me coming out). What's to motivate you to continue the resolution all year long? What do you want to accomplish?
I've listed some of my resolutions below:
- Find a job
- Grow out nails for a manicure
- Take more pictures (I'll be bringing my camera everywhere with me this year)
- Get a passport
